A Step-by-Step Guide to Trimming Your Cat’s Nails

If you have a furry feline friend at home, chances are you know how important it is to keep their nails trimmed. Not only will your furniture thank you, but keeping your cat’s nails in check can help to prevent any uncomfortable scratches during cuddle time. 1: Gather Your Supplies 

Before getting started, be sure to have everything ready that you need. This might include nail clippers (scissor or guillotine style both work), styptic powder (to help stop bleeding in case of an accidental cut), treats (to reward kitty after a job well done!), and perhaps some calming music or aromatherapy to set the mood. Having everything ready ahead of time can help make the process go much smoother. 

2: Establish Some Trust 

It’s always best to get your cat used to the idea of having their nails trimmed by introducing the clippers slowly while they are relaxed and content.
