If your cat isn't getting regular dental care or if there are underlying illnesses causing poor oral hygiene, there are many signs to watch out for. These include bad breath, difficulty eating or chewing food, drooling or salivating excessively, bleeding gums or discolored teeth, swollen face/jaw area or refusal to eat anything hard like dry food. If you notice any of these signs it's important to take them into see their veterinarian right away so they can get the proper treatment they need!
